SAI

I found this wonderful painting program SAI the other day by visiting dannychoo.com.
It's perfect for painting and sketching in 2D. It's also very light in resources and I haven't experienced any crashes compared to painter or photoshop. It's my new favorite program!

I'm still not doing as much art as I want to but its getting better. I'm kinda worried I'm half assing alot of my stuff and never finishing... One of my new years resolutions are to do more art.

New Website

I made a new portfolio website. It's a blog design. I know its not the typical portfolio site everyone is used to but its easy for me to maintain. The design is pretty boring but I'll customize it later.

I'm not sure what the benefit of using 2 different blogs. This one is kinda for my friends and I guess pixolee.com is more professional.

Getting back into it

I'm getting back into it. I can't get my head around doing clean art. My stuff is always messy. Tomorrow is another day at the job...

Vacation

I'm at my parents house for my vacation. I've been eating, watching tv and sleeping most of the time. I looked at my books and old art stuff. Then I got curious and went online and browsed cgtalk. I felt excited looking at all that cool art. Made me feel like maybe I should try again. I'm not sure about modeling, its too time consuming and requires too much research for me. I'm going to start out with a few drawings and see what happens from there.
